The Commercial Analytics Operations Manager supports the sales, specifications, and operations of the Drinking Water Business Unit identifying any areas in which the business unit can grow and improve. The primary focus of the role is to lead the analytics, business insights, data acquisition, treatment, and governance of commercial operations while leading the development and delivery of key insights and reporting (both strategic and tactical execution).
This newly created role will help plan long-term initiatives for success, work with various teams and functions on improvements and solutions, and partner with sales teams to analyze CRM funnels and develop strategies to maximize results.
Commercial Insights :
- Gather data from multiple sources and organize into a format used to track long term commercial trends
- Develop market size analysis and regional target recommendations
- Evaluate specification and POS data to determine key trends and identify gaps or opportunities
- Provide comprehensive data analysis on key trends and influencers of orders including price, rebate, and commission
- Identify root cause of macro business unit orders trends at relevant micro (regional, customer, product, etc.) level
- Influence strategic commercial countermeasures based on data analysis
- Provide support to the General Manager to link commercial insights and strategy execution to business outcomes
