Zyscovich's 46-year portfolio includes aviation, mixed-use, multi-family, hospitality, retail, education, and commercial facilities.Zyscovich is searching for an Architectural Designer to contribute to its highly innovative and diverse team of professionals.Responsibilities : Communicate with Directors, Designers and Project Managers to develop design concepts and graphics.Develop architectural designs into construction documents.Participate in owner-architect-contractor meetings.Use software to prepare presentation graphics, renderings, & animations.Review submittals / RFIs during the construction process to verify conformity with design intent.Manage submittals for project deadlines.Perform periodic site visits to verify as-built conditions, identify / document construction types & engineering systems.Maintain orderly project files to facilitate access.Understand & follow standard CAD / BIM procedures. Research products & NOAs to be included in specs.Coordinate and communicate with engineers, consultants to solve complex design issues & issues that arise during construction.Read and interpret as-built drawings for buildings.Resolve design detail issues and ensure designs align to safety standards and government regulations.Travel required to project sites in Tri-County area of South Florida (Miami Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties) approximately twice per month.Qualifications : Proficient in AutoCAD, Arch Viz, BIM, Revit, Newforma, SketchUp, Lumion, UltiMaker Cura 3-D printing, InDesign, BlueBeam, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).Master's in Architecture.12 months experience in architectural design, complex structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical engineering, civil / landscape trades, sustainable design and FL building codes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
