What does a Director of International Education Do?
Directs and leads all aspects of the institution's international programs. Develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs and the international admissions process. Ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Typically requires a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.
