The Fiberglass Technician measures, cuts, and positions fiberglass materials according to specifications and blueprints. Applies layers of fiberglass and resin to molds to fabricate or repair composite parts and structures. Being a Fiberglass Technician trims, sands, grinds, and finishes cured parts to achieve the required dimensions and surface quality. Mixes resins and hardeners, ensuring proper ratios and curing conditions. In addition, Fiberglass Technician inspects finished products for defects and ensures compliance with quality standards.
