The Lead Teller assists tellers with more complex tasks, approves exception transactions, backs up tellers and performs teller duties as needed. Supervises a teller line that processes a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments. Being a Lead Teller manages the branch currency levels, tracks currency shipments and deliveries. Responsible for vault and the auditing, reporting and balancing of cash draw.
