For our IT team in Ludwigshafen & Frankfurt, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven IT Service Desk Specialist.
About job:
Handle all incoming IT-related questions, incidents, and requests submitted via tickets, in-person, chat or phone.
Process inquiries appropriately, timely, and efficiently based on service desk procedures and documented best practices to support plant operations.
Maintain current inventory and manage IT hardware and software licenses using designated tools and configuration management procedures, ensuring all equipment across the plant is accounted for.
Apply security procedures in access management, user account management, and permission assignment based on applicable security protocols, particularly in areas critical to plant operations.
Provide continuous user instructions, training, documentation, and communication in collaboration with other IT functions to ensure efficient and proper use of IT systems and raise awareness of IT policies among plant staff.
Maintain operational availability and proper functioning of IT services to achieve continuous business value and stability of business processes.
Represent the global IT team to site management and all other parts of the local organization, and vice versa, to understand and meet the company's requirements.
About you:
Completed studies in IT / Business Informatics or similar and/or experience at a similar position for at least 2 years
Good knowledge of German and English (B2)
Extensive knowledge of M365 applications and Microsoft environment
Teamwork, initiative, and quality awareness.
Ability to organize/plan tasks.
Quick comprehension, flexibility, and good communication skills.
Seeking long-term solutions and improvements.
Flexible response to new tasks and independently and actively participating in the team.
