About job:
First point of contact for users seeking technical support via chat, phone, email, or in person.
Assist with basic troubleshooting and use of remote support tools.
Support in identifying and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and in some cases network systems.
Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams and provide basic documentation and context to ensure a quick resolution.
Maintain accurate records of issues and solutions in the service desk system and provide training and guidance for end-users.
Assist in the maintenance and updating of hardware, IT systems and software.
Collaborate with local procurement resources in ordering hardware, software, accessories, and services.
Maintain and manage the company's IT resources, ensuring compliance with established labeling, storage, and documentation policies.
About you:
Current enrollment in a degree program in the field of computer science
Experience at a similar position is an advantage
Affinity for IT-related topics
Proficient in using Windows operating systems (Win 10 and 11) and Microsoft 365 products.
Good comprehension skills
A customer-oriented and structured way of working
Friendly interaction with supervisors and colleagues
Experience in problem identification/solution is desirable
Good knowledge of German and English (B2), both spoken and written
