This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex valuation projects, including business valuation, impairment testing, and purchase price allocation (PPA) for a diverse range of clients. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a keen analytical mindset, we want to hear from you!
Your Responsibilities:
π Conduct business valuations for M&A, financial reporting, tax, and strategic decision-making purposes.
π Lead valuation projects and prepare expert reports for various legal valuation scenarios (e.g. squeeze-outs, tax-related applications)
πΌ Advise on corporate transactions and M&A processes
π€ Play a key role in client acquisition and representational activities
π₯ Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues with your expertise
π Perform impairment testing in compliance with IFRS and HGB standards.
π Support purchase price allocations (PPA) and fair value measurement of assets and liabilities.
π Prepare detailed financial models and valuation reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant frameworks.
π Assist in presenting valuation findings to clients, senior management, and external stakeholders.
π Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including audit, tax, and transaction advisory experts.
π Stay up to date with valuation methodologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
Your Profile:
π 4 years of relevant experience in valuation, financial advisory, or corporate finance.
π Strong knowledge of business valuation methodologies (DCF, market multiples, NAV, etc.).
π Experience with impairment testing (IAS 36) and purchase price allocation (IFRS 3).
π Proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling and valuation tools.
π Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients.
π Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
π A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA, ACCA, or CPA qualifications are a plus.
