Site Operations Manager - Logistics / Supply Chain (m/w/d)

As Site Leader, you will oversee the scale-up and development of the site as the organisation rapidly develops its European stronghold across DACH and BeNeLux. This is a high-visibility position where you'll be expected to drive projects to develop performance, and embed a customer-obsessed, hands-on culture from day one. You'll work closely with European leadership and have the autonomy to shape operations, implement forward-looking solutions, and lead meaningful process improvements - all within a flexible, collaborative, and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership for site operations - up to 300 FTE at peak.
• Drive performance through KPIs, productivity metrics, and continuous improvement tools.
• Champion a hands-on leadership approach-visible, accessible, and engaged with teams on the ground.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and act as a strategic partner in service delivery and development.
• Explore and implement automation and innovation projects to future-proof operations.
• Embed a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement, in line with company values.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain-can include site start-ups or greenfield operations.
• Highly KPI-driven with a deep understanding of operational metrics, cost control, and performance tracking.
• Strong customer orientation, with a passion for building lasting partnerships and delivering excellent service.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-focused leadership style.
• Experience or keen interest in automation, digitalization, and operational innovation.
• Fluent in German and English-both written and verbal.
• A collaborative and pragmatic leader who thrives in a lean, agile, and values-led business environment.
