We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to support a flagship infrastructure project in Germany. Our client is a world-leading engineering consultancy delivering complex, large-scale projects that require robust logistics and supply chain expertise.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, equipment, and personnel to support the project’s construction and execution phases. You will develop and manage logistics strategies, supply chain operations, and transport coordination, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain efficiency and mitigate risks.

This is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive problem-solver who can anticipate challenges and implement cost-effective, streamlined logistics solutions. Your ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and transportation networks will be critical in maintaining timelines and ensuring that all materials and equipment arrive on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end logistics plans, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, warehouses, and project sites.
• Oversee transportation, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Work collaboratively with procurement, construction, and site teams to anticipate supply chain requirements and avoid delays.
• Monitor and optimize inventory management, ensuring minimal waste and maximum utilization of resources.
• Lead logistics risk assessments, identifying bottlenecks and developing mitigation strategies.

The Ideal Candidate should be/have:

• Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management for large-scale infrastructure, construction, or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of freight, transportation networks, import/export regulations, and warehouse operations.
• Fluent in German and English
