The Senior Director of Procurement & Subcontracting (PSM) for the COE/NEI RBU ATF will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing the procurement and subcontracting strategy, ensuring alignment with Exyte’s global PSM policies, procedures, and overall objectives in the advanced semiconductor, microelectronics, and alternative energy sectors. This senior leadership position demands an experienced and dynamic individual with deep expertise in procurement management, subcontracting, and supplier relationship management.
As a key member of Exyte's regional business leadership team, you will lead a high-performance team, develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives, drive process improvements, and enhance supplier relationships to meet the company’s business goals. You will also ensure that procurement processes and subcontracting activities are integrated effectively across the business, supporting the company’s continued growth in the high-tech industry.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Leadership and mentoring of a COE/NEI RBU ATF PSM Team to foster a culture of excellence and effective collaboration. Continuous training and professional development of team members.
- Development and implementation of strategies to minimize risks and optimize outcomes in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Utilization of key supplier relationships and management of a regional supplier base to optimize costs, ensure quality, and deliver on time.
- Support for new business initiatives through the integration of procurement and subcontractor processes.
- Promotion of cost reductions and supplier diversity by collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Collaboration with regional managers to align procurement efforts with organizational goals.
Show Your Expertise
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in the EPC industry, including several years in a leadership position.
- Proven expertise in leading large teams, managing complex procurement projects, and strategic sourcing.
- Experience with various contract types and the application of financial analysis and supply chain methodology.
- Proficient in using digital procurement tools, ERP systems, and data analysis.
- High standards of integrity and ethical behavior in all procurement activities.
- Effective negotiation skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Relevant certifications such as CPSM or PMP are advantageous.
