Design Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced 3D Design Coordinator with a strong background in piping systems and pharmaceutical facility design. You will be responsible for coordinating 3D model development, ensuring clash-free design, and supporting project teams in the successful execution of complex pharmaceutical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the development of 3D models using tools such as Navisworks.
• Work closely with process, mechanical, and HVAC teams to ensure integrated design across disciplines.
• Lead clash detection and resolution processes, managing Navisworks models and clash reports.
• Interpret and validate P&IDs, piping specifications, and layout standards.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards (GMP, FDA, EMA).
• Facilitate regular model review meetings and provide updates to engineering and project management teams.
• Support construction planning with accurate and detailed isometric and spool drawings.
• Maintain model integrity and ensure consistent data structure across project phases.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of GMP-compliant design principles and cleanroom environments.
• Experience with BIM coordination and model federation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
