Full Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your impact

You’re passionate about building smart, scalable software that directly improves the customer experience? In this role, you’ll take ownership of modern full stack applications – from frontend to backend – and help shape the architecture of our digital ecosystem. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Your tasks

• Build and run scalable, high-performance full stack applications – with a strong focus on clean code, usability, and maintainability
• Develop modern server-side rendered frontends using Preact (or React) and state-of-the-art tooling
• Design and implement backend services in Kotlin, ideally as AWS Lambda functions
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to create great user experiences
• Contribute to our CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and deployment strategies
• Take part in architectural decisions and help define technical best practices
• Continuously improve the developer experience and support team-wide knowledge sharing through code reviews and mentoring
  
  

Your profile

• 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in frontend/backend development within agile teams
• Solid experience with Preact or React, including server-side rendering
• Strong backend skills in at least one modern language and framework – ideally Kotlin in the AWS Serverless stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
• Good understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and scalable infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated testing
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
• Passion for building customer-centric products and solving meaningful problems
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Residence in Germany is required due to legal and tax requirements
