iO Associates are currently partnered with a highly-established global MRO company based in Switzerland who are seeking a dedicated Certification Engineer to join their team.

This company is able to sponsor candidates that require a visa, provided that the candidate has the relevant EASA Part 21 experience.

The focus of this role is to oversee certification activities for aircraft modification projects, ensuring coordination between internal and external stakeholders, preparing necessary documentation, managing technical and operational reviews, and supporting senior design and airworthiness officials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate certification activities for outfitting and modification projects with internal teams and external third parties.
• Prepare and review certification documentation, including Certification Plans, Compliance Sheets, and Master Data Lists.
• Perform technical reviews of aircraft documentation and manage activities related to aircraft operational aspects such as registration changes and compliance with operational standards.
• Support the Head of Design Organisation and the Office of Airworthiness in administrative and organisational tasks.

Requirements:

• Senior Engineer qualification with extensive experience in aviation engineering and design.
• Expertise in of the following disciplines such as Electrical, Avionic, and Mechanical systems
• Familiarity with approval procedures (EASA Part 21 / CS / JAR / FAR)
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
