Location: Cologne

Our client is seeking a Controller to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and process optimisation in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare internal and external financial reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB.
• Conduct cost centre planning, variance analysis, product cost calculations, and inventory valuation.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and investment calculations.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting for management and operational teams.
• Lead cost centre meetings to ensure budget alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Participate in special projects and internal process optimisation.

Qualifications:

• Degree in business administration with a focus on controlling or accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (POC Accounting) and HGB.
• Experience in process improvement and financial reporting.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and highly analytical mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and MS Office.
• Fluent in German and English.
