Following a new contract opening in October 2025 with a major client, Newrest is looking for a new talent to join a growing Supply chain team and be part of the country’s growth.
Under the responsibility of the Unit manager and managing up to 5 store keepers, based in Munich, the Supply Chain Manager is in charge of:
Monitor supply chain strategies aligning with global market trends,
In corporation with the Purchase Manager to source, engage and evaluate with suppliers and manufactures, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery,
Oversee the company's purchasing activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods at optimal prices.
Supervise inventory, maintaining the balance between optimal stock levels and minimized holding costs,
Analyze and refine supply chain procurement costs, highlighting avenues for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements,
Work in tandem with key internal stakeholders to project demand, ensuring the readiness of the supply chain,
Spearhead initiatives that foster supply chain and procurement efficiency, agility, and sustainability,
Ensure that purchases are made on time.
Cost management: buying the right products in the right quantities, etc.
Ensures that deliveries are in line with orders placed.
Manage the supply chain organization, including the warehouse in the unit in Munich.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain management, preferably within food industry
Knowledge of supply chain best practices
Familiarity with supply chain software, including inventory management and forecasting tools
Comfortable in using Excel and familiar with an ERP
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Negotiation and communication capabilities
Ability and agility to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
