Project Manager

Project Manager | Solar Energy | Aachen | €60,000 - €75,000 (DOE)

Piper Maddox is working closely with an international Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar energy business that is offering a great pathway for aspiring project managers to join a team that has been seeing great success & overachieving their targets over the last 12 months.

Since their inception, the business has successfully grown out of Germany into 7 countries in 3 different continents. From day one, you will be well placed in the business with plenty of responsibility & autonomy. You will be working on a range of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects, with the average project sizes ranging from 100kw - 5 MW.

Please note that more junior profiles (around 1 year experience) will also be considered for this role, with an effective training program on offer that will rapidly upskill you to become a professional project leader.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for the customer
• Defining customers’ needs and supporting them in the design stage of the project
• Procurement of resources, supervision of subcontractors (with assistance of site manager), management of quality standards, facilitating handover and customer satisfaction
• Supporting grid connection process – initially with certification stage and then the physical integration to the grid.

Your profile

• Electrical / Energy / Construction engineering background
• Photovoltaic experience
• Leadership experience
• Organization and communication capabilities
• C1 German language
