Then you might be our next Product Owner for Platform Services.

We’re looking for a Technical Product Owner (PO) to drive the development of our core service layer, building a scalable, future-proof foundation for our content collaboration and publishing suite. This backbone will power essential platform services, including authentication, configuration, and billing, while also enabling AI-driven capabilities, all built on an event-driven architecture to support seamless, high-performance content delivery at scale.

As Product Owner, you will focus on the “how” - driving the execution of a strong, modular backend infrastructure that powers seamless editorial workflows. You will work closely with Product Managers (PMs), who define the market needs and priorities, and ensure these are translated into clear, actionable development plans.

Together with architects, developers, and DevOps engineers, you will drive the evolution of our platform through our seasonal Product Increment (PI) process, ensuring that it meets the demands of modern newsrooms and media organizations.

You will report to the SVP Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Managers (PMs) to translate market needs and platform requirements into scalable backend services.
• Act as the bridge between PMs and development teams, ensuring alignment on technical feasibility and implementation paths.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to build a highly available, resilient service layer for our SaaS-native infrastructure.
• Oversee the execution of features in alignment with the trimestral Product Increment (PI) cycle, working with teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement based on feedback from internal stakeholders, ensuring the platform meets evolving business and customer needs.
• Communicate platform updates and improvements to internal stakeholders and development teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, ideally in the media industry.
• Experience working with backend development teams, architects, and DevOps engineers.
• Experience with Jira or similar backlog management tools.
• Familiarity with agile and SAFe methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with AI is a plus.
