Railway Certification Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Plan of Project Validation based on CENELEC standards
• Assessment of system documents based on CENELEC standards
• Coordinate verification & integration activities
• Validation reports and annexes according to standards and project guidelines
• Review of Validation documents
• Evaluate coherence of process and outputs based on the requirements of CENELEC standards including the SIL assignment
• Evaluation of System/Subsystem according to Hazard Analysis
• Evaluation of risk assessment methodologies
• Safety audit of the rolling stock
• Collaboration with Customers and Supplier
• Verification of previous certificates

Your Profile:

• Completed Degree in Mechanics/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering or a related qualification
• Experienced with Safety Assessment of materials according to EN 45545
• Deep knowledge of CENELEC standards EN 50126, EN50128, EN 50129
• Experience with System and Subsystem Hazard Analysis
• Good understanding of risk assessment methodologies
• Detailed knowledge of FTA, FMEA, FMECA, HAZOP
• Knowledge of Regulation 402/2013
• Hands-on-experience with IBM Rational DOORS
• Your communication skills are: Fluent in English, German min. B2
