Train Validation Engineer Vehicle Testing

Besides Mannheim, it is also possible to join this position in Kassel.

Your Tasks:

• To plan and ensure the train level validation test activities.
• To plan and ensure support for developer, tuning and certification tests - performed by engineering team.
• To identify and book test facilities.
• To manage the validation schedule, optimizing the validation
• To ensuring time and quality of train level test execution and reports
• To create and maintain the Validation plan.
• To implement the standard process and related methodologies and tools to ensure Certification and Validation efficiency.
• To manage the project validation team of 2-4 test engineers.
• To write static and dynamic test reports.
• To review and approve test procedures and reports.
• To providing Validation proves.
• To collect data for KPI to project & line management.

Your Profile:

• You have a Bachelor of Engineering
• You have at least 3 years of work experience in Rail industry including train systems.
• You have Advanced knowledge of rail vehicle commissioning or testing.
• You have at least 2 years of work experience in team and project management.
• You have knowledge of planning tools.
• You have knowledge of Standards & Regulations e.g. EN50126, EN61133.
• You have knowledge of Rail Vehicle Authorization Process (TSI, NNTR).
• You have knowledge of work package Management.
• You have knowledge IBM Doors & Workflow Management tools, MS Project.
• You are a good team player in an international environment, willing to learn and working together.
• You are fluent in English
• German knowledge is a plus.
