Position Overview

The Senior Quantitative Structurer will be instrumental in developing bespoke trading and hedging solutions for complex energy portfolios. You will combine deep market knowledge with advanced quantitative techniques to create value for both internal trading desks and external clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative structured products for power and gas markets
• Develop pricing models and risk management frameworks for complex energy derivatives
• Collaborate with traders and sales teams to structure customized client solutions
• Build quantitative tools to evaluate opportunities across different market conditions
• Enhance existing valuation and risk methodologies for energy portfolios
• Advise on strategic positioning in volatile energy market environments
• Contribute to business development through technical expertise and client engagement

What You'll Need

• Advanced degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline
• 4 years of experience in energy structuring, quantitative analysis, or trading
• Proficiency in stochastic modeling and derivatives pricing within energy markets
• Strong programming skills (Python, R, or similar) and familiarity with database systems
• In-depth understanding of European power and gas market fundamentals
• Experience with energy derivatives, structured products, and complex contracts
• Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills beneficial
