Overseeing the end-to-end value chain from supplier to SAT 6 months at the customer site;
- Setting delivery, cost, quality and sustainability targets across products in Goals & Boundaries and business priorities.
- Securing that the sector strategies and operations roadmap support the business priorities.
- Collaborating with the sectors and program to realize the business priorities and secure business team requirements
- Leading Business Teams on delivery, cost, quality and sustainability across products & sectors.
Context of the position
The System Delivery Manager is a senior manager and is part of the EUV System Delivery team. There is a close collaboration between this team and the High NA EUV System Delivery team to achieve the goals of these departments, especially on communication with suppliers and customers.
Role and responsibilities
SDM owns the system P&L and secures the business requirements in the product team(s), by
- Driving solutions with the sectors to secure and debottleneck:
- Delivery (e.g., cycle time, output, NPI ramp, phase in-phase out, cabin upgrades, # proto’s, move rate capability, COLT, exceptions)
- Cost (Make & Install, cost-of-goods, E&O, NRE)
- Quality (e.g., NMQ, MNs, XLDs)
- ESG (e.g., Re-Use, E&O)
- Quantifying business impact (P&L / business case) to support (KD) decision making and prioritization
- Securing strong connection between product team and business teams
- Driving sector ownership to execute upon targets
- Securing and driving (longer term) business capability requirements (e.g., fast-ship, commonality, boat shipment, direct module shipment) in product design requirements
Objective of a Business Team
The objective of a business team is to;
- drive the business priorities towards targets by setting the right requirements to the Products Teams & Sectors, and
drive for execution in line with these requirements with the Product Teams & Sectors

Activities of a Business Team
- Defines multi-year roadmap including yearly targets and rolls up to G&B, LTFP, TAP
- Syncs targets with all sectors and Product Teams
- Set meeting governance and ownership and plans accordingly to drive progress
- Follow up on help request from sectors and PT
- Facilitates decision making when trade-offs are required
- Syncs the Business Team roadmap and actuals with Product Teams
Main responsibilities of the System Delivery Manager EUV NXE
The SDM goals and objectives are assigned to the members of the SDM team where each member owns a few areas of Responsibility like PT SDM representative and/or BT owner. The assignments are based on Business Priority and personal skill and ambitions and will require personal flexibility given the dynamic conditions ASML and our suppliers and customers operate in.

Orchestrate changes in supply chain and factories to optimize productivity and minimize waste

Integrate EUV business needs into the collaboration with key suppliers

Define, secure and monitor capability build-up plans for factories, supply chain and install

Remove all roadblocks for system deliveries

Set target, secure and monitor system cost (Make, Install, Cost of Goods)

Ensure new product deliverables are industrialized and ready for volume

Ensure customer satisfaction by driving decisions on timing, configuration and quality, balancing business, technological and operational aspects.

Support customer account teams in customer communication on System Delivery topics. (e.g. deviations, configuration)

Optimize return on invested capital by driving commonality across products, reducing inventory integral cycle time and E&O, and increasing re-use

Represent System Delivery Management department in the cross-sector Product Team
Education and experience
-
MSc degree in (industrial) engineering or supply chain

10 yrs work experience, across multiple disciplines in high-tech, low-volume environment

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
