About the job

We are looking for a Marine Superintendent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing marine support to our FPSOs and base personnel. You will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with Asset Managers and project teams to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Establishing and maintaining corporate marine policies and manuals
  • Providing expert advice on marine issues affecting offshore installations
  • Supporting tender and project operations with valuable marine input
  • Contributing to the design and development of future FPSO projects
  • Staying up-to-date on maritime regulations, industry standards, and incorporating best practices within Bluewater
  • When required, you will provide offshore support on board of F(P)SO’s to back up regular offshore staff

You’ll report to the Department Head, Marine & Subsea Support, and work closely with colleagues across the business to support Bluewater’s goals.

Requirements

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and persuasive Marine Superintendent with strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own work efficiently. You will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a Nautical College and a Master’s certificate in competency
  • 5-10 years of experience in crude oil tankers and offshore operations
  • Knowledge of tanker operations and dynamic positioning (DP)
  • Engineering COW certificate and DP certificate
  • The flexibility and willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
