We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Material Planner to manage the planning and ordering process based on internal sales forecasts. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and group factories to ensure smooth production and inventory management. While a foundational understanding of logistics is required, the focus of this role will be on material planning and supply chain alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Planning & Order Fulfillment: Analyze internal sales forecasts and work closely with sales teams to determine material requirements. Plan and place orders for production to meet demand while optimizing inventory levels.
• Production Planning: Coordinate with group factories to ensure that materials are ordered, produced, and delivered according to the production schedule. Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Act as a connector among sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure the timely flow of materials and smooth production processes.
• Inventory & Lead Time Management: Ensure inventory levels align with demand, and work with suppliers to optimize lead times and stock levels.
• Data Analysis: Use data analysis tools to review material usage, sales forecasts, and inventory trends to make data-driven decisions that improve material planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve material planning processes and systems to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in material planning, production planning, or related supply chain roles.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP for order fulfillment, sales forecast analysis, and material planning.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Python) is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Skills:
  • Excellent understanding of demand forecasting and material planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to ensure timely execution of tasks.
