HBO Internship – IT Procurement

The procurement organization is an essential part of Marel’s global supply chain, contributing to cost savings, innovation, and strategic partnerships with vendors worldwide. As an intern in IT Procurement, you will gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, contract analysis, and vendor management while working closely with key stakeholders in the IT organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an IT Procurement Intern, you will support a variety of procurement activities, including:

• Conducting contract and data/commercial analysis to support medium and large vendor negotiations.
• Managing sourcing initiatives for vendors with annual spending below $50K.
• Collaborating with the IT organization as the primary procurement stakeholders.
• Contributing to non-product-related (NPR) procurement department activities.
• Providing operational procurement support.
• Identifying and implementing innovative ideas to enhance NPR procurement at Marel.
  
  

Who are you?

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern who:

• Is currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Is eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic, global organization.
