Operations Team Lead

As our new Operations Team Lead, you are the liaison between the Operations Manager and our Supply Chain team. You take charge in department meetings and act as a connector with other departments and teams. This role partakes in recruitment and selection, identifies market and business trends and people coaching. You are a true people person with the drive to succeed in our fast paced environment. ‍

Some of your responsibilities:

• Coaching a team of 3-10 people;
• Collaborate in operations;
• Assisting in translating division strategy towards personal operational plans;
• Identifying market trends and bringing forth suggestions based upon them;
• Internal and external stakeholder management;
• Account management;
• Managing output of team;
• Identify improvement opportunities warehousing/logistics;
• Stays up todate with P&L;
• Focus on KPIs;
• Involved in recruitment & selection process.

You are an accurate, pro-active and hands-on people person. You are a good listener and easy to access. You make sure that your team performs well and process improvements are being implemented. You have a good eye for spotting problems and coming up with solutions. You take initiative, which helps you navigate through challenges.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain & Logistics;
• You have >3 year of experience in a relevant logistic team lead role;
• Experience in improving business processes;
• Solid knowledge and experience with logistic processes and documents;
• Knowledge of export;
• Experience with transport modes (road/train/air/sea);
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
