Waitomo Homestead Assistant Operations Manager

Do you enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment? We are looking for an experienced leader who is results driven, resilient and passionate about developing and supporting crew to provide outstanding customer service. In this role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and assist with the day to day operations at the Waitomo Homestead (café, restaurant, bar, gift shop, ticket office and cabin accommodation).

Key requirements:

• Experience managing a F&B and/or accommodation operation, with a track record of success
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Strong numeracy, communication, and process skills
• Experience with safety and sustainability standards
• Organised and deadline orientated
• Training and developing skills
• Understanding of stock control including ordering and monthly stocktake
• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and financial packages relating to the management of F&B and accommodation.
