Adtran is seeking a Junior Software Engineer with knowledge of Python and AWS to join our team. You'll work on Intellifi®, a cloud-based SaaS platform for internet service providers that helps manage, optimize, and monetize their services. Our application leverages AWS Lambda (Python and Node.JS), AWS IoT Core, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch. The frontend is built with Angular UI. You will be part of a cross-functional Scrum team based in Poland. Your main role will be to build and extend services responsible for automatic network issues detection.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Implement new features and enhancements to existing software.
Conduct and participate in code reviews.
Develop unit, acceptance, and end-to-end tests of implemented software modules and enhancements.
Help fix software bugs found during all testing phases.
Work with the team to deliver incremental (bi-weekly) software releases.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of software development experience.
Experience with Python (AWS Powertools, FastAPI/Flask, boto3, pyTest, Pydantic).
Experience building microservices on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3).
Familiarity with IaC (AWS CDK, CloudFormation) and CI/CD (Jenkins).
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Proficiency in Polish (C1) and English (B2).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Node.JS/TypeScript.
Experience with AWS IoT and large-scale AWS systems.
ML/AI-related knowledge.
