Test Engineer with spoken French (relocation to Belgium)

We are looking for a Tester Engineer with good spoken French who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy Development: Define test strategies, including the types of tests (regression, E2E, etc.), and determine the scope of automation and manual testing required.
• Effort Estimation and Planning: Provide accurate time and resource estimations and planning for test activities.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with functional analysts and developers to define requirements, designs, and testing conditions.
• Test Execution & Reporting: Prepare and execute test conditions, report any issues encountered, and ensure proper follow-up for resolution.
• Automation of Test Scenarios: Develop and maintain automation test suites using best practices for code readability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Status Reporting: Maintain clear and regular updates regarding testing progress, findings, and results.

Specifics for Agile Testing:

• Test case development and execution are aligned with sprint cycles, delivering just-in-time results.
• Participate actively in daily stand-ups and sprint review meetings to align with project goals and timelines.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Ability to define and implement a comprehensive testing approach, including deciding on test scope, writing accurate test scenarios and cases, and ensuring proper execution by backup testers.
• Strong development skills to create maintainable and extensible automation test suites without redundancy or inefficiencies.
• Proficient in technical testing skills:
• Reading and analyzing logs.
• Utilizing tools for API testing.
• Creating database queries and analyzing test data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and report defects effectively.
