Senior Frontend Engineer in
Portugal.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the user-facing aspects of the product. Working within the End User Experience cluster, you will collaborate with various teams to design and implement new features, optimize the frontend experience, and ensure seamless performance for end users. Your contributions will directly impact the customer journey, helping to deliver intuitive and scalable software solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement features for the consumer-facing web application, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software Developers, Architects, QA Engineers, and Product Managers, to deliver new product features and resolve any issues
- Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing support for both internal and customer-facing technical issues
- Maintain and optimize the development environment to enhance team efficiency
- Contribute to process improvements within the team, helping to streamline workflows and increase overall productivity
- Actively participate in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing commercial software products, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Redux
- Solid understanding of web infrastructure, HTTP, and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) best practices and familiarity with SOLID principles and Clean Code methodologies
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end (E2E) testing
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, and build and bug tracking systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Jira
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and proactively contribute to projects
