Data Engineer with Python

Purpose of the job:

Our customer takes the leading position in advanced data analytics and engineering expertise. There are analytical projects that are based on modern Machine Learning and Data Engineering approaches targeted on the worldwide leaders in different areas. Currently we are looking for a Senior Python / Data Software Engineer to implement and support ongoing project.

Initial contract term: 9 months, with a view to extend

Responsibilities:

• Directly communicate with customer development, management and business teams.

• Take responsibility for tasks completion and delivery using Agile software development process.

• Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements.

• Participate in functional and architectural decisions for new functionality requests.

• Participate in code review within development team.

Must have:

• 4 years of Python commercial development experience

• Strong experience with Airflow

• Experience with Pandas

• Understanding of base ML algorithms would be a plus

• Great verbal English and communication skill

• Strong self-management skillset
