Position Overview:

The position involves developing an application utilizing pricing formulas and existing MS Excel tools, integrating them into company-wide SDKs. The aim is to enhance contract originator workflows by automating data gathering from APIs and processing time series data to generate price recommendations. The technology stack involves Angular for the user interface and Python for the backend, fostering compatibility with current applications and development teams. The application will be hosted in an Azure and AWS hybrid cloud environment, with the developer tasked to manage deployment pipelines, select cloud-service configurations, and seamlessly integrate these services into the application.

This role is available only for candidates based in Romania.

What You Will Do:

·      Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs in an Agile environment.

·      Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python.

·      Cloud development and deployment on AWS.

·      Utilize REST APIs and SQL connectors to integrate with various data sources and systems.

·      Implement data cleaning, validation, and processing using Pandas, PySpark, or equivalent libraries.

·      Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI for seamless communication between services.

·      Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure scalability and maintainability.

What You Will Need:

·      At least 5 years of experience in Python development, preferably using FastAPI.

·      Experience with cloud development and deployment on AWS or Azure.

·      Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

·      Familiarity with the Pandas and PySpark libraries for data manipulation and analysis.

·      Experience in REST API/OAuth usage to interact with data sources and external systems.

·      Hands-on experience with FastAPI framework for building high-performance APIs.

Nice to Have:

·      Experience with front-end technologies (Angular is preferred).

·      Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

·      Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.

·      Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
