PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

As far as projects go, from fintech to transport solutions, we work together with the world's top companies.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Design and deploy AWS services like EC2, S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, MWAA or Redshift.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Develop and improve CI/CD and DevOps processes.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning to ensure efficient software delivery.
• Write scripts for automation and orchestration in Python/Bash.
• Collaborate with developers on software requirements.

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 3 years of relevant experience in AWS DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, KMS, SNS, Route 53, Dynamo, Lambda, or Redshift.
• Strong knowledge of CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience with Codebuild, Codedeploy, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g. MySQL).
• Expertise in Git and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices, IAM and compliance standards.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS SysOps Administrator.
• Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with technologies such as Confluent, Splunk, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, HVR is a plus.
• Experience with Cloud Security and Networking.
• Understanding of financial services and risk management in general.
• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive can-do mindset.
• Willing to participate in various activities that all team members do, like our daily monitoring activities, incident handling and even hosting some of our scrum sessions.
• Strong engineering instinct (do the right thing), a deep understanding of computer science.
• Desire to continuously learn and improve in a complex, rapidly evolving environment.
