Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Public Cloud Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients on their digital transformation journeys, with a strong focus on Public Cloud solutions and DevOps integration. This is a client-facing role blending technical cloud design, implementation, and pre-sales support within a dynamic and collaborative environment that mirrors top IT managed service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Cloud Architecture
- Act as the public cloud subject matter expert during client engagements.
- Advise clients on cloud strategies, architecture, migration, and transformation.
- Design robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver clear, value-focused presentations and technical workshops to clients.
Sales & Pre-Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to support bids, proposals, and RFPs.
- Translate customer needs into tailored cloud solutions.
- Lead or participate in technical demos and client workshops.
Cloud Implementation & DevOps Integration
- Support hands-on cloud architecture validation and deployment efforts.
- Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code) for streamlined service delivery.
- Stay current with public cloud innovations, DevOps tools, and trends (e.g., automation, cloud security).
Collaboration & Team Support
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and technical experts.
- Share expertise to evolve internal cloud strategies and best practices.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and mentorship within the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- 8 years in cloud consulting or technical roles with a focus on public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise cloud projects.
- Deep understanding of hybrid cloud environments, cloud architecture, and infrastructure modernization.
Sales & Communication Skills
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including demos and proposals.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage business and technical audiences.
Technical & Methodological Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform; certifications are highly desirable (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
- Solid foundation in network design, cloud security, automation, and cloud-native services.
- Proven experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, containerization).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as ITIL is a plus.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and governance strategies.
