Job Posting for Technical Support Engineer - OASE at Oracle
As a Support Engineer, you will be an essential technical resource for customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Value-Added Resellers (VARs), assisting with the installation, recommended maintenance, and use of Oracle products. This role requires a foundational understanding of Oracle products and platforms, with a focus on learning and developing expertise in these areas. You will work under the guidance of senior team members but are expected to handle basic issues independently while growing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to customers, OEMs, and VARs, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and use of Oracle products.
Troubleshoot issues related to OBIEE, OAS, OBIA, and OAC, and escalate complex problems as necessary.
Assist in resolving technical issues on Linux Operating Systems, including scripting and basic troubleshooting.
Support WebLogic Server Security Configuration, including configuring LDAP, handling users and groups.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop solutions for customer issues and provide high-quality service.
Continuously improve your knowledge of Oracle products, with opportunities to work on Oracle Database/Essbase, and learn about SSO/SSL/LDAP configurations.
Follow established processes and best practices to ensure consistent and effective customer support.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
3 years of experience with Linux Operating Systems, including scripting and troubleshooting.
Good knowledge of Database/SQL.
Familiarity with Oracle products such as OBIEE, OAS, OBIA, and OAC is a plus.
Understanding of WebLogic Server Security Configuration (LDAP, users, and groups) is desirable.
Exposure to Oracle Database/Essbase and SSO/SSL/LDAP is an advantage.

Ability to identify customer problems and assist in providing timely technical solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships or project experience are encouraged to apply.

Product and Technology:
Fix and resolve simple to highly sophisticated technical issues related to OBIEE, OAS, OBIA and OAC.
