The Transition Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the seamless transition of services within the organisation in various areas of the business. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders with different seniority levels and across departments to ensure that all transition activities are executed efficiently and effectively within time and within the budget. The role will develop and implement transition plans, manage project risks, and ensure that all processes are documented and followed according to the project timeline. The goal is to achieve successful internal outcomes by ensuring that all parties fulfil their responsibilities and that any issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
Manage and oversee the transition of services across various business sectors, ensuring seamless integration and continuity regardless of the scale or complexity of the services involved.
Ensure all transitions are documented and follow a clear timeline.
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and across departments to build strong relationships, ensuring everyone fulfils their responsibilities and adheres to the project timeline.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all parties involved.
Keep detailed records of all transition activities.
Proactively identify and document any risks or issues, develop solutions to resolve them promptly, and escalate them to the appropriate team members for further action.
Handle administrative tasks related to transitions and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance future transitions.
Requirements:
Strong organisational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Previous experience in planning, managing and executing the overall/part of a transition program for various services including stakeholders’ management, risk management, overall project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Able to accommodate to fast paced and high intensity environments.
Advance knowledge about project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1).
Ability to organise, interpret, structure and present data into useful information that provides context for the data.
Meticulous approach to documentation and reporting.
Great problem-solving skills, analytical and able to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Strong skills in mediation, active listening and negotiating win-win outcomes.
Ability to understand the bigger picture to uncover potential challenges and opportunities for the long term and turning these into a compelling vision for action.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements.
Good Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, with a demonstrable ability to build well-presented and logical documents and presentations.
