Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Front End Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Romania. Our client is one of the leading multinational companies in the building materials industry, based in Germany. The company is a producer of building materials and construction systems comprising construction materials for drywall construction, plasterboard, cement boards, mineral fiber acoustic boards, dry mortars with gypsum for internal plaster and cement-based external plaster and insulating materials; glass wool, stone wool, and other insulation materials. They set the benchmark for gypsum-based products and systems, energy-efficient insulation materials, market development, and customer orientation. With 150 production facilities and sales organizations in over 86 countries, it is one of the big players in the market in Europe, the USA, South America, Russia, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Business trips to Germany are expected (1 meeting per quarter maximum).
Requirements
5 years of experience in software development.
Strong experience with React and NestJS.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience in building scalable and high-performance web applications.
Ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and NestJS.
Ensure a seamless and responsive user experience.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs.
Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Participate in peer code reviews and testing.
Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure you leverage the most effective tools and practices.
