Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland/Romania. Our client is one of the leading multinational companies in the building materials industry, based in Germany. The company is a producer of building materials and construction systems comprising construction materials for drywall construction, plasterboard, cement boards, mineral fiber acoustic boards, dry mortars with gypsum for internal plaster and cement-based external plaster and insulating materials; glass wool, stone wool, and other insulation materials. They set the benchmark for gypsum-based products and systems, energy-efficient insulation materials, market development, and customer orientation. With 150 production facilities and sales organizations in over 86 countries, it is one of the big players in the market in Europe, the USA, South America, Russia, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Business trips to Germany are expected (1 meeting per quarter maximum).
Requirements
5 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
Knowledge of JavaScript.
Hands-on experience in creating testing documentation.
Expertise in evaluating and identifying areas where test automation would be beneficial.
Understanding of automating both UI and API tests.
Understanding of using test automation tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
Strong soft skills and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
Create and support quality processes.
Develop and maintain the test documentation.
Evaluate and identify areas in which test automation.
Design and execute manual and automated test cases.
Develop automation scripts using modern testing frameworks.
Maintain automated regression suites/packages to reflect changing requirements and features.
Work alongside developers and effectively communicate necessary information to reproduce bugs or defects.
