Business Development and Account Delivery Manager for EU Institutions

Tremend is looking for a business development professional to join our team for Business Development and Account Delivery Management for EU Institutions. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our current project profitability while expanding our portfolio through strategic customer engagement and leading tender responses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, account management, and a deep understanding of EU Institutions and/or NATO. Alternatively, a great spirit of ownership, proactivity, and willingness to learn will go a long way


Your Impact:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within EU Institutions, NATO, and our partners
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase the portfolio and drive revenue growth
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and project profitability
  • Lead and contribute to tenders responses, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals. Leverage our bid and presales teams and internal/external experts for the preparation and submission of technical and financial offers
  • Negotiate and manage consortia agreements to strengthen our position in the market
  • Engage with key customer stakeholders to understand their needs and position Tremend as a trusted partner
  • Oversee the development of technical offers, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with our capabilities. Have a willingness to learn and a proactive attitude
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.


Your Skills & Experience:

  • ​Excellent negotiation and communication skills, a great spirit of ownership, proactivity, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional EU languages is a plus, especially French
  • Willingness to travel within the Benelux region and meet partners and customers
  • Ideally, have extensive experience in business development and account management within the EU Institutions and/or NATO sectors
  • Ideally, possess a comprehensive understanding of the EU procurement process and experience in leading tender responses, or willingness to learn it rapidly.
