We’re growing our Product Management Craft with a focus on data strategy, governance, and enablement. As part of this growth, we’re looking for a Product Data Manager who thrives at the intersection of data quality, usability, and organizational value. This role combines elements of product thinking, business data analysis, and strategic consultancy — ideal for someone who can structure, validate, and scale frameworks that empower others to work better with data.
Responsibilities
• Act as the owner of data frameworks, guiding their structure, evolution, and adoption
• Lead the definition and refinement of maturity models, indicators, and data quality KPIs
• Coordinate validation efforts with internal teams or institutions, incorporating insights and feedback into the products
• Work closely with designers and technical leads to transform static frameworks into interactive digital tools, such as SharePoint forms, EUSurvey-based assessments, or internal guides
• Translate complex governance and FAIR principles into clear, usable tools that support decision-making and process improvement
• Support the preparation and delivery of learning materials and workshop content, ensuring frameworks are well understood and easy to apply
• Contribute to broader data product strategy initiatives beyond the initial project — including the creation of new data standards, evaluation tools, and enablement assets across teams
What we’re looking for
• Solid experience in data product management, business data analysis, data governance consulting, or adjacent fields
• Ability to work with maturity models, self-assessment tools, and metadata standards (FAIR, DCAT, ISO 8000/25012, etc.)
• Strong analytical and structuring skills — you’re able to take loosely defined frameworks and turn them into tested, validated, and usable products
• Comfort working across roles — from technical configuration to content refinement and stakeholder alignment
• Experience working with or alongside public sector, research, or policy-driven teams is a plus
• Hands-on familiarity with platforms like SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, EUSurvey, or low-code data tools is a bonus
