About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Scientist to join our team working on the development of cryogenic integrated circuits (ICs) for quantum computing and other low-temperature applications. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in the field of cryogenics, focusing on designing and optimizing ICs that operate at cryogenic temperatures. You will be part of a dynamic team collaborating with academic institutions, industry leaders, and cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of technology in the rapidly evolving quantum computing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
· PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on cryogenic systems, semiconductor materials, or integrated circuits.
· 2-5 years of experience in designing, testing and characterising analog/mixed-signal ICs (ADC, DAC, AFE etc). Familiar with chip-level modelling, integration and verification.
· Hands-on experience with PCB design, operating high performance test equipment, especially for high frequency and low-noise circuit design.
· Familiarity with system-level modeling and simulation, using tools like MATLAB and Python, to model and optimize cryogenic IC performance.
· Understanding of the challenges of operating electronic systems at cryogenic temperatures is a plus.
· Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize analog/mixed-signal ICs for low-temperature applications.
· Experience with system-level modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Python.
· Strong publication track record in relevant technical fields, demonstrating a history of research contributions and innovation.
· Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.
Strong communication skills for presenting research findings to academic, industrial, and governmental stakeholders.
