Shipping Executive (Commodities Trading)

Our client, in the commodities trading industry, is looking for a Shipping Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day operation of vessels
• Manage contracts with shipowners, cargo owners and brokers
• Manage all payments related to the voyage such as charter hire, sea freights, port disbursement, insurance premiums, etc.
• Coordinate with Master, charterers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Plan, monitor, and execute vessel voyages, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with risk management frameworks, policies and processes

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Maritime, International Trade, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping operations, ideally in dry bulk
• Cargo operations experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders
