Accountant

This role includes but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts of the Company's entities.
• Responsible for bookkeeping, AR, AP, GL, recharges and intercompany transactions.
• Responsible for preparing monthly payments.
• Responsible for preparation of month end closing processes, consolidation and timely and accurate monthly financial reports and audit schedules.
• Responsible for preparation of quarterly GST reporting.
• Assist in audits, tax, XBRL and statutory filings.
• Liaise with corproate secretary for preparing annual returns, resolutions and other corporate matters
• Involve in initiatives to improve accounting/inter-department workflows, internal controls and to enforce implemented processes.
• Business unit partnering - review of sales performance and presentation of monthly actual vs budget variance analysis.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy with at least 3 years of acocunting experience
• Excellent knowledge of SFRS
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Xero accounting system
• Audit and XBRL experience would be a plus
• Independent and resourceful to fit into a dynamic startup envrionment
• Strong team player
• Keen eye for details and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
