About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Account Manager to drive strategic relationships and business growth within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record working in system integrator environments and a strong understanding of the unique IT needs and workflows within healthcare institutions, including hospitals, clinics, and medical groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow key accounts within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, private medical groups, specialist centers, and clinics.
Develop a deep understanding of client operations and pain points to position relevant IT solutions.
Promote and sell infrastructure, cloud, managed services, and healthcare-focused applications (e.g. EMR, clinical systems, telehealth platforms).
Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, engineers, and solution architects) to deliver tailored proposals and solutions.
Prepare and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tender submissions in compliance with healthcare procurement practices.
Build strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders including CIOs, Heads of IT, Medical Directors, and Procurement Leads.
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Stay up-to-date with healthcare IT trends, patient experience technologies, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g. PDPA, healthcare data protection).
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT sales or account management roles within the healthcare industry, preferably from a system integrator or technology solution provider.
Strong understanding of healthcare operations, digital transformation trends, and medical technology challenges.
Demonstrated success in selling complex IT solutions (cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications) into healthcare clients.
Familiarity with EMR, HIS, PACS, LIS, or similar systems is a strong advantage.
Experience managing healthcare accounts and engaging both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-driven, resourceful, and able to manage a sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Informatics, or related field preferred.
