Job Summary:
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the transition into a modern, data-driven finance operating model by overseeing operational readiness and cut over execution for key transformation initiatives. As the central point of coordination between business, technology, and project teams, you'll ensure systems, people, and processes are fully prepared for seamless go-live and beyond. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead the operational readiness and cut over strategy, ensuring alignment across business units, IT, and project stakeholders.
Perform readiness assessments, identify gaps, and implement structured plans to achieve full go-live preparedness.
Manage readiness checklists, timelines, ownership assignments, and resource planning.
Ensure operational processes are documented, understood, and executed consistently across regions.
Establish clear governance for stage gates and go/no-go decisions; participate in forums to support risk assessment and resolution.
Coordinate training programs to ensure staff are equipped and confident in their new roles and systems.
Track key milestones, monitor risks, escalate issues, and provide regular updates to leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end alignment during transition phases and post-implementation stabilization.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience in operational readiness, cut over management, or large-scale transformation delivery, preferably within finance or insurance sectors.
Strong domain knowledge of finance operations, systems, and controls.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global teams through project transition phases.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ERP or finance transformation programs (e.g., Oracle, IFRS17) is an asset.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or CPA/CA are preferred.
