Network Engineer (Proxy)

Responsibilities

· Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Bluecoat ProxySG appliances and Management Console.

· Develop and implement proxy policies including URL filtering, proxy bypass, and forwarding rules.

· Set up and maintain SSL interception and decryption in compliance with security and privacy standards.

· Utilize diagnostic tools and Splunk to analyze proxy logs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations.

· Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulatory standards regarding web traffic.

· Plan and execute security-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.

· Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide updates, insights, and recommendations.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience with Bluecoat ProxySG configuration and management.

· Strong skills in creating and managing web proxy policies.

· Proficiency in SSL interception setup and management.

· Hands-on experience with Splunk for log analysis and issue resolution.

· Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance frameworks.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Experience in project planning and stakeholder management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $3,084.76 - $8,773.92 per month
