Quality/QAQC Engineer, Construction

Responsibilities:

• Establish Project Quality System, implement and maintain in accordance to Singapore standards
• Monitor all legal and regulatory compliance requirements and performance and identify preventive programs to mitigate any potential non-compliance.
• Assess the implementation of Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans at sites and to ensure the project Quality plan follows specification and contract requirements
• Visit sites periodically and conduct detailed and recorded quality, process and safety check so as to ensure the quality is up to industry and company standards
• Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance
• Liaise with Authorities, vendors, sub-contractors and external parties on project quality matters and improvement requirements
• Conduct and organize/support QMS Internal/External audit and ensure close out of all Inspection and Audit Non conformities
• Attend client quality management meetings

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor Certificate
• Minimum 8 years of experience in implementation and management of quality systems preferably in construction sector
• Familiar with all aspects of quality standards and processes requirements of local Authorities
• Strong communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status report
