Procurement Executive

Job Description :

• To follow up and expedite suppliers on order status
• Sources for vendors and evaluates quotations
• Negotiates and coordinates with suppliers and cross functional teams for best possible price purchases
• Coordinates with other departments internally, on stock availability and delivery schedules and to maintain tight inventory control
• Liaise with suppliers for shipment collection
• Coordinate with warehouse and forwarders for all incoming and outgoing containers
• Provide all shipping documents for forwarders prior and upon arrival of shipment
• Source for the best freight quotation in terms of service and costs
• Prepare packing list warehouse on incoming good inspection
• To follow up with warehouse for all incoming goods receiving, packing list and discrepancies
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement :

• Min Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or relevant qualifications.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office applications
• Pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive work attitude
• Good administrative and problem solving skills
