Job Posting for PMO Operations Officer at Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT)
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled candidates for the role of Project Management Office (PMO) Operations Officer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the PMO team’s activities by providing services to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, establishing knowledge management functions, and maintaining project governance standards, processes and workflows.
You should have relevant background in project management and the PMO function.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient utilization of resources across the teams.
Project Tracking and Dashboarding: Coordinate with project engineering teams to track project and resource status, budget status, risks and issues, and assist in preparing status update reports and dashboards.
Resource Procurement: Responsible for procurement workflow and handle invoicing, confirming with project teams on delivery, and liaising with Finance department to ensure follow-through of payment.
Knowledge Management: maintain proper project documentation storage and facilitate ease of access to templates and work processes.
Monitoring: Track contract expiry, software renewals and hardware assets management. Ensure risk mitigation plans are carried out in a timely manner.
Process Improvement: Analyse challenges in existing processes, workflows, templates and seek innovative solutions to be implemented.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and provide general support functions for the PMO team or project managers.
Build relationship and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
Any other PMO tasks as delegated by the supervisor.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, information technology, Management of Technology, or equivalent.
Strong interest in the field of Infocomm Technologies.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and independent with problem-solving skills.
Meticulous, with good attention to details.
Strong work and compliance ethic.
Effective communications skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint) and dashboard tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, etc).
Familiarity with procurement methods and Project Management methodologies (e.g. Agile/Waterfall) would be a bonus.
