Job Description:
Assist in the preparation of daily, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
Participate in month-end closing activities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and assisting in the reconciliation process.
Support the creation of financial presentations for senior management, summarizing financial results, trends, and forecasts in a clear and concise manner.
Contribute to the budget and forecast cycle by assisting in the collection, consolidation, and validation of data for budget preparation and forecasting.
Liaise with various departments and country teams to collect and consolidate relevant financial data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reporting.
Contribute to the development of financial systems by identifying area of improvements, supporting workflow implementation, and performing UAT to ensure updates meet business requirements.
Conduct variance analysis on financial statements, comparing actual performance to budgeted figures and identifying key drivers of variances.
Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc financial reports and analyses, providing insights into specific business initiatives or financial projects as needed.
Job Requirement:
0–1 year (Internship/Academic Experience)
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferably in the penultimate or final year of study).
Knowledge of basic financial principles and accounting practices is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups) is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Able to work in a team and individually
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude, eager to learn and take on new challenges.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Basic understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ability to perform data analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage.
Familiarity with financial modeling and financial reporting tools is a plus.
